• The Java 3D Home Page is Sun Microsystem's home page for Java 3D, and is the first place to go to learn about Java 3D.
• Blackdown.org has ports of Java 2 and Java 3D to Linux.
• The VRML-Java3D Working Group has a VRML browser they're working on, using Java 3D.
• Java 3D Loader Achive contains links to many different types of 3D model loaders.
• The National Center for Supercomputing Applications is doing work with Java 3D. Visit their home page that describes the Java 3D utility library NCSA Portfolio, the astronomy program Astro 3D which comes with full source code, and the Java 3D programming contest's grand prize winning entry, You Build IT Virtual Reality which also comes with full source code.
• VisAD is a Java class library for interactive and collaborative visualization and analysis of numerical data. This package has GREAT support behind it and is well worth taking a look at.
• Bang Space Inc. has an open source virtual reality program available
• The VRML and Java 3D Information Centre has news and information.
• EquitySoft has WYSIWYG scene editor called Jicasso.

• German Enigma machine model. The Enigma machine was the crypto system developed by the Germans during WWII.
